ADIB gives football fans a chance to win iPad 2 in the “Match of the Week”
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Official Bank of the Etisalat Pro League, is set to give fans once again a fun evening at the up-coming “Match of the Week” between UAE rivals, Al Jazira and Al Wasl. Al Jazira takes on Al Wasl at their home ground, the Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium on March 15 at 8:30pm within Round 15 of the Etisalat Pro League competition.
Entertainment provided by ADIB will include performances by ADIB ball jugglers and face painters. Fans will have a chance to win amazing prizes, including a chance to win iPad 2, by simply registering their details. They can also receive complimentary gifts of clappers, and t-shirts, as well as, refreshments from ADIB’s new “Football Fan Van”. ADIB will welcome fans from 6:30 at its kiosks located around the stadium.
H.E. Mohammad Mohammad Fadel Alhamli stressed the importance of holding such creative events and activities in the Pro League matches, indicating that it would attract and increase the number of football fans in all UAE professional football clubs.
Alhamli praised the role played by the national organizations, and their permanent cooperation with the various sporting events in the UAE. He thanked ADIB on its effective participation for the success of the "Match of the Week" initiative, which was announced recently.
Alhamli referred to the important role to be played by various media to make the "Match of the Week" initiative a success, by covering all the accompanying events, hence encouraging attendance to the stadiums.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), in return assured that participating in the “Match of the Week” initiative comes from the importance of national institutions to play a leading role in the development of society, bearing in mind that sport is one of the most important social activities in the UAE. ADIB assured that the bank's ambition to participate in events organized by the Pro League Committee will grow in time, referring that consultations and agreements between ADIB and PLC will continue in order to increase the number of football fans in the stadiums.
