Al Jazira signs Abdul Rahim Juma'a for two seasons

 

Abu Dhabi-based Al Jazira Club, current Champions of the Etisalat Pro-League and the President's Cup, have signed a two-season contract with former Al Wahda midfielder and National Team player Abdul Rahim Juma'a.

Juma'a's move to Al Jazira follows extensive negotiations which have continued long time after his contract with Al Wahda came to an end. He spent many years at Al Wahda Club, rising up through the junior ranks.

Abdul Rahim is the second player to join Al Jazira since the end of the season, joining Ali Mohamed Rashid, who signed a contract with the Club a couple of days previously. He will play besides his two brothers Abdul Salam and Ahmad Juma'a who are currently playing for Al Jazira after also playing earlier with Al Wahda.

Abdul Rahim expressed his happiness to join Al Jazira and his two brothers. He said that playing besides his brothers will motivate him to provide the best with his new club and work with sincerity and dedication to help of Al Jazira stay on top so as to preserve their current achievements in the next season.

Speaking about his future ambitions with Al Jazira, Abdul Rahim said, "After winning two big domestic championships, Al Jazira's goals should be directed towards the Asian Competition. I will try to exert my best efforts with my colleagues to make these ambitions a success."

"Al Jazira has huge potential and strong capabilities along with talented players and they stand a good chance to compete in all championships in the forthcoming season," he added.
