Al Ain signs Romanian Radoi for two seasons
Al Ain Club signed a two -season contract with Romanian player Merrill Radoi during the press conference held on Monday evening July 4th in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammad Bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman Al Ain Board of Directors, a number of the Board of Directors members and the team's Romanian coach Cosmin.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan inaugurated addressed the press conference expressing his deep appreciation to His Highness Prince Abdul Rahman Bin Masaad Chief of Al Hilal Saudi Club for their sincere cooperation and the high standard of professionalism which they adopted through the process of negotiations that led to the transference of Radoi to Al Ain. Sheikh Abdullah said that adopting high professionalism by Al Hilal is not surprising because big clubs know the language of communications in all occasions.
He welcomed the new player Radoi, expressing his pleasure with his transference to Al Ain to help the team with the rest of his fellow players in achieving the desired goals. Sheikh Abdullah wished Al Ain team all the success in the next season. He said,| "Radoi is an excellent player who has contributed strongly to the titles won by Al Hilal Saudi Club besides his outstanding performance with Romanian National Football Team".
Radoi expressed his happiness to join Al Ain club, despite of the other offers he received from other clubs. He said, "I have chosen Al Ain because it is one of the big clubs who aspire to compete for titles and championships.
Al Ain's Romanian coach Cosmin said that Radoi chose the right way to sign for Al Ain after his successful professional career with his previous club Al Hilal, saying that he will play with young talented players who are looking for success and winning championships. He noted that the club is looking forward to contract with other players in the coming period.
Cosmin said what happened to Al Ain Football Team in the last season is illogical because of the good technical standard of its players, noting that he was aware of the reasons that led to the decline of the team's performance.
