Al Ain sign Brazilian coach Alexander Gallo for half a season
Al Ain FC has signed an official half a season- contract with the Brazilian coach Alexander Gallo to take the task of supervising the training of the senior football team as a successor to the Ex- local trainer Abdul Hameed Almistiki who has been dismissed on the basis of the results the team have received in the Etisalat Pro-League competition that see them in 10th position with only 11 points. This was announced during a press conference held on Thursday December 30 at the premises of Al Ain club. The contract of the new coach continues up to the end of this season and the renewal of a new deal is subject to the desire of both parties.
Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al Ain's Chief Executive Officer has signed the contract on behalf of the club's Board of Directors in the presence of Majid Al Owais, manager of the team , the new coach Alexander Gallo and his assistants, Ahmed Abdullah and Mauricio Kabortino from Brazil.
Dr. Khalid assured in his speech at the outset of the conference that the coach has shown since his arrival great desire and enthusiasm to continue his career with the team during the forthcoming games at the local and Asian levels with all the hope to achieve the desired ambitions that comply with the aspirations of the club and the fans as well. He wished the new coach every success in his career with Al Ain team.
On the other hand Alexander Gallo expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to Al Ain Club for the warm hospitality and wonderful reception he has received since his arrival to Al Ain city. He promised to work hard in the forthcoming stage in order to change the current situation of the team and try to solve all technical problems the team have suffered during this season. Gallo said: "I have watched on video recordings four games Al Ain have played recently against Kalba, Al Jazira, Bani Yas and Al Dhafra, and it appeared clear that the players need to raise the rate of low fitness and organization in terms of tactics. He refused to disclose the names of the new professional players assuring that this will be announced in a few days".
